What the hey, I'll throw in a little Cypress ski report... My son and I skied Cypress last Thursday. He's only skied Whistler all of his life (9 years old) and he was not impressed with the ancient double chairlift (Skye lift) which wacked him with the middle post, knocked off his ski, slowly inched up the mountain, etc. Very kind liftee ran and got his ski and put it back on him while we were sitting on the chair! Poor Whistler boy, eh. (Disclosure: I've done lots of "time" at the tiny Quebec Laurentien hills, Eastern Townships and Vt.) The conditions at Cypress were terrific and we loved the views of the ocean and nice gladed pitches. Cypress is now closed for the season.

Thanks for the the fabulous ski reports, Greg. Take care of the sunburn and keep us posted. We skied out to the Dublin Gate at lunchtime, and I was amazed at how firm the snow still was all the way down to the valley floor.
Got a good dose of sunburn on the terrace at the Dublin Gate over a couple of pints of Strongbow, ;-) It was as good days Spring skiing as one can hope for.
Raining outside as I write (20.25) and warm, but don't write the winter off yet!

Hiked Picolo today, the old fashioned way.
