Thanks for the reports guys, good to get some other opinions, especially since I didn’t make it up.

Paul, I intend to do a write-up about the EC – hopefully include photos/video and basically let you know what it is all about.

James, don’t feel too bad, I have been here 6 seasons now, and still have a LOT of terrain to explore.

Noah, I will looking into adding a timestamp, but basically each days report is for the day it is posted…. The date is mentioned under the post title (but not the actual time)

Last week has been fantastic. Hard to beat Thursday’s bluebird powder. Thanks for these updates. Could you add the time of day to the posts? Would be easier to figure out which day you’re talking about. Thanks!

It seems a bit inappropriate to be leaving a recap of our five days under a post titled ‘Rain and Wind’ given the great conditions we had during our five days of skiing Weds-Sun. As has been recapped by Greg in previous posts, great powder day Wednesday, sunny, cloudless days Thursday and Friday with ample snow to push around, Saturday was (to us) the worst of the five days with mostly cloudy skies and some wind introduced in the picture, and Sunday was great as well with another 20 cm on the ground (though the snow was a lot heavier than on Wednesday!) We split our time almost in half on both mountains, sticking to Blackcomb when it was snowing. Size and terrain (both diversity and difficulty) were a “see it to believe it” and only wish we had more time to explore certain areas. We probably spent the most time in Harmony and Symphony on Whistler and 7th Heaven and Jersey Cream on Blackcomb. Didn’t get around to Spanky’s regrettably, and left both mountains after 5 days feeling that there was much to explore. I guess that means we’ll have to come back soon! Thanks Greg for your updates and look forward to hearing about the experience at Extremely Canadian.

I took an E.C. clinc a couple weeks ago and it was worth every penny. Easily two of the best days I’ve ever had skiing…it will be interesting to hear your review Greg as you probably already have a lot of the “local knowledge,” but for someone like me who only gets up 10-15 days a year it was exactly what I needed. I’ll definitely be doing it again next year!

Got up solar coaster at 11.30 am and the sun came out, blue sky and not too busy .. was really nice. Got fresh tracks even at 11.30am!! Had a late lunch and came out at 2pm to see the crystal chair had opened .. had a lot of fun on rock and roll but legs were very tried by then …not used to all that powder! Really mixed conditions everything from wind blown, to really nice powder to cruddy crunchy topped stuff and slush on teh way down … but lots of snow.. very enjoyable day, just need new legs and knees. Enjoy everyone will be April before I get up again!

was actually not too bad today on whistler…. got up to roundhouse around 11 and it cleared up nicely… around red and green was nice carving snow… bit cruddy towards base of garbanzo.

alpine was being blasted all day….

The alpine looks nice if wind allows opening tomorrow.

Greg you need to post up a full review of your clinic – I’m thinking of taking the same thing in 2 weeks when we’re out there.
