That extra 400 feet of elevation truly made the difference! I went out to Revelstoke after the Olympics and drove all night... I arrive in Revy at 11:30 and tore my ACL And MCL by 12:30. Sucks so hard. I hate to say it, but I'm actually hoping that spring comes so I can enjoy the weather without crying. Spring skiing is my favourite too, but I'm out for 9 months :( I am so Jealous. I hate to say it, but I’m actually hoping that spring comes so I can enjoy the weather without crying.

We skied the lower mountain on the first morning only. It warmed up too much to ski down there after that and so we headed to the top of Whistler. You will find great runs at the top, and probably pretty good snow too. If it's clear, 7th Heaven at the top of Blackcomb has great vistas and some easy going beginner trails down too. Don't worry - there are tons of beginner and intermediate runs all over both mountains and you will have a blast! I've been hearing that the lower mountain is terrible, is this true? Can they go on runs at the top of the mountain, or are they're mostly black runs up there?
