So, I'd say that while this season was definitely 'different'! Although my touring gear saw little use early on in the season, (normally most days are spent on bounds 'till it becomes skied out, and then outside the ski area after that, usually walking back into the ski area in the afternoon) this year with a pair of sharp piste skis, Atomic Metron B5s, (Why have Atomic discontinued them??) Fast cruising became the norm.. Not a bad season, just different!

One of the great things about skiing is that every day is different. People who love the spring skiing are always mad when the mountain shuts, due to there still being enough snow to ski.
Personally, this season is a season to forget and I look forward to next year. Can't really complain since we had 2 amazing seasons before it.
While the late snow saved the season from 'terrible' to 'acceptable' it just isn't the same. The best skiing (in my opinion) is the early season and Jan/Feb powder days, which we had virtually none of this year.
It all depends on what you like, as Spring skiers are loving it right now and the early lack of snow didn't bother them at all......

Hey Phil, our season regularly goes until mid-June, usually with decent coverage right up until closing day. Greg what was your overall impression of the season? It seemed like March and April really made up for the lack of snow at the beginning of the season.

Crazy that people are still finding good conditions at the end of May…I need to move!
