Im not having a lot of luck with whistler the last 3 years running. Been at peak times every year and every time i have had a full 10 days of sunshine and no snow. I think i will give next year a miss. But i have a couple of days left so fingers crossed this snow will come as im off on saterday. I just have no luck.

These updates are great, so first of all thanks for them. Im not having a lot of luck with whistler the last 3 years running. Out to Whistler next Wed, this will be my 5th visit & I have to say I'm worried about the snow conditions. All previous visits were great with fresh snow, classic off piste. Looks like the snow may come this weekend I just hope the freezing level stays below 1000m.
Think I may go to church this weekend & pray (lol!)

Thanks for the great updates on the snow conditions. I got a few good fresh tracks in, but today it's really choppy with ice under it. Well, it was like that on the base of blackcomb anyway. I'm slightly injured from working on my 3s on skis, so i called it quits early.
nice weather though.

Yesterday the snow was pretty damn good! I got a few good fresh tracks in, but today it’s really choppy with ice under it. Spent the majority of the day over on the far side of Blackcomb and the traffic was light and the runs snowy. Favorite runs for the day were Twist & Shout and Arthur's choice. No one around and 2-3 inches of fresh snow. Made it back over the Peak to Peak before closing and skied down the full Dave Murray downhill course. Gives you a new appreciation for what a world class skier is capable of. It has stopped snowing for now but more snow is predicted for Wednesday through Saturday. I agree with earlier posts that the lower mountain runs are icy and need to be avoided, even with the new snow conditions have not improved since Sunday.

Second day of skiing for us in Whistler and I have to say today was much better.
