This year has gone against the norm in so many ways. That being said, you never know how the weather is going to go - and maybe next November could be the 'big' month, or maybe March or even April.
Joe, I used my 'Prior Originals' - my powder skis at 95mm (maybe 96) underfoot. We had a lot of snow, and I would've liked to have a ski even fatter :)

Lloyd, overall I would recommend people still visit in January / February, because normally those months are the coldest, with the best quality snow, and also generally quiet lift lines. Will have to looking into doing the the Extremely Canadian clinic the next time we are out there.
Greg, just curious, were you on your Rossi Z9's for the clinic, or your powder skis?

Always enjoy reading your blog, but now I am soooo jealous….like others have said, the conditions in late December when we were there were not the best, but March break seems to have made up for it.

Will have to looking into doing the the Extremely Canadian clinic the next time we are out there.

Greg, just curious, were you on your Rossi Z9′s for the clinic, or your powder skis?

By: Liz

<guid

If that is linked with good snow you could have an excellent Whistler holiday.

Visting during the Olympics will certainly have its difficulties and expense – but with all the events taking place on a small section of Whistler Mountain the rest of that mountain and all of Blackcomb are likely to be very quiet. Looks like next year's not going to happen for the wife and me (schedules + Olympics don't seem to work out for us), so we'll probably end up keeping it stateside for 2010. Nevertheless, I'll keep reading the blog to find out what's happening in my favorite snowtown.
Keep up the good work!!!
