Sunshine and Powder

I ended up lapping Blackcomb’s alpine – mainly the Blackcomb Glacier with a couple of Ruby Bowl runs in Spankys. The powder was great in both, however there was quite a bit of avalanche debris around to keep an eye out for.

Another Big Dump

We had another big snowfall overnight, this time however, the snow was heavy in the valley and lighter up top. The snow was nowhere near as bad as yesterday, but still a little on the heavy side for my liking.

The Famous Whistler Snow

Today had all the tell-tale signs of another epic day of skiing. I woke up to find my car buried under a deep layer of dry, light snow and the WB website was reporting 17cm of new snow overnight. I enjoyed the morning walk with the dog, thinking about the day ahead, and he loved bouncing around in the powder.
