Clear skies

I didn’t go up the mountains today, but it looked like another beauty ! Mostly clear skies would’ve meant great visibility, and with temperatures staying cold, the snow would still be awesome.

No new snow overnight, and the snow base is 271cm. Tonights forecast is calling for anything from 4 to 10 cm, lets hope for the 10 :) It appears that in the long term, the freezing level is set to rise, which means the snow quality will worsen. This is normal for this time of year, in fact we have been spoilt with well above average snow quality lately. It looks like the real Spring skiing of sunny skies, warm temperatures and slushy snow is just around the corner.
